A Winter main dish salad, that will fill you up without feeling heavy. Leave out the cheddar cheese for a dairy-free option. This is also lovely vegetarian, without the chicken and extra cheese & nuts instead. We have a Honey Mustard Dressing on the site that is easy to make, rather than buying store-bought.

Sweetened with applesauce, this granola is not too sweet in crunchy clumps. Add in a handful of dried apples and nuts if you like.

If you are especially sensitive to gluten, buy gluten-free specific oatmeal. This is more low-glycemic if you add the nuts, although they are optional.
