Garlic-Herb Bread

Creamy-herby-garlicky-cheesiness spread in between bread and toasted to deliciousness. Warm it up in the oven or alongside what you are preparing on a barbeque. We suggest temperatures, but as long as you are between 325-450 degrees the bread will heat up fine.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted, softened
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened, or butter instead
  • ½ loaf french bread, preferably whole grain

Serving Size: 3 People

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 or a barbeque to medium-high.

Mince and mash up the garlic with the salt. Stir, fold and mash together the remaining ingredients until it is smooth and paste-like.

Cut slices into the bread without going all the way through. Simply slice down to about a 1/2 inch above the bottom crust.

Using a rubber spatula or butter knife, scoop and smooth the creamy garlic into the slices.

Wrap the loaf up in foil and bake or place in the barbeque for about 10 minutes until the garlic-cheese has melted into the bread.
