Apple-Granola Parfait

Sauteed Apples, Yogurt and Granola are layered together in a breakfast that feels like dessert.

Make it Dairy-Free & Vegan with Soy or Coconut Yogurt instead.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup plain yogurt, plain or soy yogurt
  • 1 cup granola, store bought or homemade
  • ¼ cup walnuts, broken up (optional)

Serving Size: 2 People

Preparation Instructions

Use the Apple Saute recipe instead if you would like the apples cooked and softened.

Wash & dry the apple. Cut along the core and toss it. Slice the remaining 4 or 5 apple pieces thinly in pieces no bigger than 1 inch. Toss with the cinnamon.

In separate bowls, layer the yogurt, granola, apples and walnuts until all the ingredients are used. Finish with the granola and/or walnuts sprinkled on top.
