Caesar Salad Topping

Pair this with the Caesar Pizza or place it in a Caesar Wrap. Or wherever you may need a little Caesar flavored up lettuce.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced or pressed
  • 1 lemon, juice
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon anchovy paste, or sub 1 tbls vegetarian worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup plain yogurt, plain, whole/low-fat/non-fat
  • ¼ cup olive oil, extra virgin
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, sut into pieces

Serving Size: 4 People

Preparation Instructions

Whisk together the garlic, lemon, mustard, anchovies, and yogurt. Slowly whisk in the olive oil until thickened and then finish with the grated parmesan. You will probably have extra dressing. Start by tossing only half of the dressing with the romaine lettuce. Add more to your own desired taste.

When the pizza comes out, place the coated lettuce on top or alongside and enjoy!
