Summer

Cherry Almond Yogurt

 

Start with sweet cherries & almond extract. Mash them into the yogurt, to taste. Layer with almonds for a delightful breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt, or greek yogurt
  • ¾ cup cherries, pitted and roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon honey, optional
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds

Serving Size: 1 Person



 

Preparation Instructions

Whip the yogurt, chopped cherries and almond extract together, mashing the cherries slightly to release their sweet juices.

Layer the yogurt with a sprinkle of the sliced almonds and even more cherries if you desire.
