Roasted Green Beans

 

Quick-roasting green beans until they are lightly golden will bring out their natural sweetness.

Ingredients

  • ½ lb green beans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper, to taste

Serving Size: 1 Person



 

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400.

Trim the green beans. Toss with the olive oil, salt and pepper on a baking sheet. Spread out so the beans are not overlapping each other.

Roast for 8-12 minutes, tossing periodically until the beans are lightly golden in places and tender to eat.

Original recipe serves 1, plan for 1/2 lb green beans per serving
