Turkey Sandwich

 

It’s not that you need a recipe for a turkey sandwich, but rather adding this to your shopping list will help remind you to have the ingredients ready for a easy lunch on the go. And if we can help you stay away from processed take out or frozen meals at the office all the better, right?

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread, or gluten-free, whole-grain
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 2 ounces turkey, slices, no additives & colorings if possible
  • 1 slice provolone, or your favorite sliced cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 carrot, peeled, grated

Serving Size: 1 Person



 

Preparation Instructions

Slap all the ingredients together, package and take on the go!

If you need more assistance…
Spread the Dijon on one slice of bread. The mayonnaise on the other. Sprinkle in the grated carrots. Top with the slices of turkey & cheese. Add the lettuce. Sandwich together- viola!
