Even if you are not used to sardines, but you love garlic and artichokes— try this dish. It will surprise you with it’s tastiness. Sardines & artichokes are breaded in crumbs or ground almonds with a powerful dose of garlic and roasted until golden.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup almond meal, or panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano
  • 1 can sardines
  • 8 artichoke hearts, halves or more if desired

Serving Size: 2 People

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425.

Toss together the almond flour or pankos, minced garlic, olive oil and oregano.

Spread the sardines & artichokes in a small baking dish. Sprinkle with the garlic crumbs.

Roast for about 8-10 minutes until the crumbs appear golden and sizzling.
