Simmer the broth for as long as you have time, whether it is 30 minutes or all day in a crockpot. Whip up the Saffron Aioli, chop the vegetables and make the dressing. When you feel ready, finally finish the Bouillabaisse by gently dipping the seafood until all is lightly cooked. Serve in shallow dishes with a generous scoop of broth and the rest of the side. Skip the bread to make it gluten-free.

Bouillabaisse Seafood Stew

The luxurious broth steams a variety of seafood into a delightful soup. The beauty of this dish is the ease and simplicity of preparing this seemingly extravagant dish. If you want to impress, but have little time… this is the dish to make! A crockpot can work to make the flavorful broth as well. The seafood is just a last minute prep and addition. It is traditional to serve it with a rouille that can be stirred in for another layer of flavor.

Saffron Rouille

This almost mayo sauce is often based with crumbled white french bread, but ground almonds can work instead to thicken the sauce. Just use half of the amount of called for. This is best paired with the Bouillabaisse including using a bit of the broth from the recipe, but this would also be lovely to top on fish by itself.

French bread

Okay. This is not exactly a recipe, but rather sometimes the best pairing for your meal is a crusty loaf of French bread. My family lineage is French, what can I say crusty bread seems more appropriate then not. So, here it is.

Let’s call it a reminder. In addition, here are a few tips on how to store it, keep it fresh, or use it up. Whenever possible try to find those crusty gorgeous whole-grain varieties.
