Roasted Turnips

Turnips become sweet & soft with an almost caramel crisp coating.

Ingredients

  • lb turnip
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, more to taste

Serving Size: 2 People



 

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400.

Trim and peel the turnips with a paring knife or vegetable peeler.

Cut in half and then into 1 inch chunks. Toss with the olive oil and salt.

Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15-25 minutes until tender and slightly golden. Toss once or twice while they roast.
