View the next recipe for this meal.

Sage hangs out in our garden enjoying the cooler days longer than any other herb plant it seems making it an ideal addition for almost any autumn dish. Sour cream or creme fraiche becomes a bit more special with just one extra layer of it’s earthy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream, or creme fraiche or greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons sage, fresh, finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper, to taste, optional

Serving Size: 4 People

Preparation Instructions

With a wire whisk, whip up the sour cream and beat in the fresh sage. If using dried sage, just use half the amount, then add more to your preferred taste. Add salt and pepper to taste.
