Whipped Yogurt Cream

from Panettone French Toast with Sweet Orange Sauce & Whipped Yogurt Cream, the Week of December 21, 2014.
View the next recipe for this meal.

Half yogurt, half whipped cream makes for a slightly decadent yogurt or a more mellow whipped cream just depending on how you look at it. Greek yogurt makes this a bit thicker, but a runnier yogurt could work, simply anticipate a looser texture.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey, or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla, or almond extract

Serving Size: 6 People

Preparation Instructions

Whip the cream in a chilled metal bowl until stiff peaks form. Whip the yogurt, honey/maple syrup and vanilla/almond extract in a separate bowl.

Fold together gently so as to not deflate either.
