Pecan Butter

from Pecan Irish Oatmeal, the Week of March 15, 2015.

Sweetened with dates and flavored up with pecans, this delightful butter is perfect on sweet potatoes, pancakes or spread across your favorite baked good.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup date, chopped or maple syrup
  • cup pecan, crushed
  • ½ cup butter, unsalted
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt

Serving Size: 8 People



 

Preparation Instructions

Place the dates (or maple syrup) and pecans in a food processor. Blend a few times. Add the butter, at room temperature, cinnamon and salt. Pulse until combined.

Serve at room temperature or chilled. Store in the fridge for a couple weeks.
