View the previous or next recipe for this meal.

Slightly spiced, these pears are melted together with a touch of ground ginger. Feel free to peel the pears. We keep them on for the bit of extra fiber.

Ingredients

  • 1 pear, large or 2 small, peel if desired
  • 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted, or coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Serving Size: 2 People

Preparation Instructions

Peel the pears if desired. Cut in half, remove the stem and core. Finely slice and dice.

Heat the butter or coconut oil over medium heat. Toss in the pear and ground ginger. Saute for 2-5 minutes until hot and melted. Taste. Add more ginger if desired.
