Grilled Corn

from Grilled Steak, Corn on the Cob and Salad, the Week of July 24, 2016.
View the previous or next recipe for this meal.

Roasting brings out the natural sweetness of corn. It is simply tossed on a grill or grill pan over medium heat and rotated periodically until toasty and tender.

Ingredients

  • 2 ears corn

Serving Size: 2 People

Preparation Instructions

Heat a grill pan or barbeque at medium heat. Place the corn on the cob wtih the husk removed on the grill. Rotate the corn every 3-5 minutes as it starts to color and darken the kernels.

Season as you like… maybe salt & pepper, maybe a pat of butter, squeeze of lime, or a drizzle of olive oil with a sprinkle of nutritional yeast.

If you would like to remove the kernels, stand the corn upright and slice down alongside the cob. Scrape down around the cob until all the kernels are removed.
