Smoky Caesar with Smoky Garbanzo Beans

1. Roast up the garbanzo beans first.
2. As they cook, whip up the salad dressing and prepare the ingredients for the salad.
3. If taking on the go, store the beans separately from the salad.

Smoky Roasted Garbanzos

Smoked paprika livens up garbanozos. Cook until crisp but the insides are still a bit soft.

Smoky Caesar Salad

Smoked paprika is whipped into a Caesar dressing and drizzled onto a dark purple romaine. If you don’t have red romaine, green is fine. If you want your greens to have a red shade try red leaf lettuce instead. But, seriously any greens will do, even shredded kale or whatever greens you are receiving from the earth these days.
