Spicy Almond Sauce

 

Spiced lightly and reminiscent of Thai peanut sauce, but with a unique almond difference.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce, gluten-free tamari
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar , or twice as much lime juice instead
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup water, boiling
  • ½ teaspoon red chili sauce, add more to make it as spicy as you like

Serving Size: 4 People



 

Preparation Instructions

Whisk together the garlic, ginger, soy sauce and vinegar or lime juice. Slowly stir in the almond butter and half of the boiling water. Drip in more boiling water until it is your desired texture and smoothness.

Add the red chili sauce, a bit at a time. Adding and tasting until it is as spicy as you like.
