Tartar Sauce

With a bit of mayo, capers, lemon and pickles, this sauce is fresh, light and made to order. Add more or less of each ingredients to your personal taste. It will last about a week when stored in the fridge. Skip the yogurt for dairy-free and add more mayo instead. Use Vegenaise to make this vegan.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup plain yogurt, or more mayo instead
  • ½ lemon, juiced, about 1-2 tablespoon, add to taste
  • 1 tablespoon capers, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon pickle, finely chopped or relish
  • ½ teaspoon dill, dried, optional

Serving Size: 4 People

Preparation Instructions

Whisk all the ingredients together and store for up to a week in the fridge.
