Tuna Melt

Melting cheese on top of tuna takes it to a comforting new level. Start with your favorite tuna salad, or simply whisk together tuna with a bit of mayonnaise.

Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole wheat bread, or other whole-grain or gluten-free bread
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, your favorite variety
  • ¾ cup tuna, salad recipe- or 2 tbls mayo & 1/2 can tuna combined
  • slice cheddar cheese, about 1-2 ounces, or your favorite cheese

Serving Size: 1 Person

Preparation Instructions

Spread the mustard onto the bread. Top with the Tuna salad.

Lay the slices of cheese on top. Broil for 4-6 minutes until the cheese is melted or toast in a toaster oven.
