View the next recipe for this meal.

This beloved vegetable is given a simple treatment of high heat with a touch of olive oil to crisp them up.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus, trim the ends
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Serving Size: 2 People

Preparation Instructions

Preheat oven to 425.

Gently break the ends of the asparagus off to keep only the tender part. Toss with the olive oil, sea salt and spread on a baking sheet.

Roast for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the asparagus, until golden and slightly tender.
