Chipotle BLT Wraps

The secret to an amazing BLT is the ingredients used. Do not skimp on the best quality bacon, lettuce, mayo and tomatoes and you will not go wrong. The chipotle and tortilla just gives the classic dish a bit of simple sass.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon, chipotle powder
  • ½ tablespoon chipotle pepper, ground powder, more or less to taste
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 cup lettuce, or arugula
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, or greek yogurt
  • 1 whole wheat tortilla

Serving Size: 1 Person



 

Preparation Instructions

Place the bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Sear on one side until golden. Flip over and if desired drizzle on a bit of the chipotle pepper. Once finished transfer to a plate lined with paper towels or a splatter guard.

Whisk the remaining chipotle powder with the mayonnaise. Spread it on a tortilla. Add the bacon, tomatoes and lettuce. Roll up. Enjoy!
