Baked Tofu

One of the easiest ways to prepare tofu, since you simply toss it in the oven after drenching it in soy sauce. Great to take chilled and on the go or cut into pieces and toss with a stir fry.

Ingredients

  • 1 package tofu, extra-firm , 10 ounces to 1lb in size
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, tamari or braggs amino acids for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Serving Size: 4 People



 

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400.

Cut tofu into 1-inch thick slices. Wrap up in a kitchen towel and press slightly to absorb the excess liquid.

Place tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Drizzle a bit of soy sauce and sesame oil on each piece of tofu. Flip over and add a few drops of soy sauce and sesame oil on the other side.

Bake for 10 minutes, flip over and bake for 10-15 more minutes until baked through and lightly crisp on the edges.
