Black Pepper Yogurt & Granola with Peaches, Honey & Proscuitto

Make the granola well in advance. It will store for several days, of course if you don’t devour it first. Sear the prosciutto if using and crumble when cool. Slice the peaches. Whip up the black pepper yogurt and assemble when ready to eat. Use your favorite nut, such as toasted pine nuts or sliced almonds instead of the prosciutto for a vegetarian version.

Black Pepper Parmesan Granola

A savory twist on a sweet morning breakfast. Honey still adds a reminder of sweetness, but lemon, parmesan and black pepper stand out to make this distinctive granola rather addicting. Substitute more oats for the rice puffs, but try to use them if possible, because they absorb so much or the flavor and give a delightful crunch that is not to be missed.
