Nutty Quinoa with Winter Fruit Salad

Prepare the quinoa. As it cooks, chop the nuts and fruit. Finish the fruit salad. When the quinoa is cooked through, add the nuts and serve together for breakfast.

Mix, match and toss ’em together. Any winter fruits will do including: local apples & pears, persimmons & citrus which may travel a distance for you to enjoy and a bit of tropical fruits such as pineapple and shreds of coconut. They are all brought together with simple lime and honey.
