Cajun Aioli

from Cajun Eggs with Fried Green Tomatoes & Squash Biscuits, the Week of September 16, 2012.
View the previous or next recipe for this meal.

Forgive me. This is more of a fake aioli, but with the yogurt it gets a boost of good probiotics so who’s complaining? And there are also no raw eggs. Cajun or even blackening spices work well to spice up this dip. Use Vegenaise for a vegan/dairy-free option.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise, or sour cream
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt, or more mayo for dairy-free option
  • 2 teaspoons cajun spice blend, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard

Serving Size: 4 People

Preparation Instructions

Whisk all of the ingredients together. Adjust and add any more of the ingredients to your preferred taste.

If your Cajun spice blend is salt-free, you may want to add a pinch of salt.
