Ground fennel, or the more expensive and elegant fennel pollen, is one of those magical spices that can get away with being added to slightly sweet dishes. Whipped into a bit of yogurt with honey and then topped with figs & walnuts you will be transported to the Mediterranean, for a blissful start to your morning.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon fennel pollen, or ground fennel seed
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • 3 figs, trimmed and cut in quarters

Serving Size: 1 Person

Preparation Instructions

Whip the greek yogurt, fennel pollen or ground fennel, and honey together. Taste, adjust the flavors to your personal choice. Place in a bowl. Top with the walnuts and fresh figs. Add an extra drizzle of honey or pinch of fennel as desired.
