Lavender Chicken with Fig Salad & Green Beans

Simmer the lavender, honey and lemon juice for the chicken. Some of this lavender syrup can be used for the dressing as well. Prepare all of the salad ingredients and trim the green beans. Briefly marinate the chicken in the lemon juice. Grill the chicken. Whisk up the dressing. Steam the green beans. Assemble the salad. Serve altogether.

Grilled chicken is given a feminine sweet touch with this lavender infused honey. Skin coated bone-in chicken will help the chicken stay moist and flavorful. English lavender is better for eating than the French lavender, which is best in the powder room.
