Granola Drops

Gooey, sweet rolled up drops of granola goodness. Instead of granola bars, take these little guys with you on the go. We use our Seeduction Granola, but any homemade or store bought variety will do. We also call for only seeds, but feel free to use peanut or almond butter in place of the sunflower seed butter if you prefer.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, or olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ cup banana, mashed or applesauce
  • ¼ cup sunflower butter, or peanut or almond butter instead
  • ½ cup coconut, shredded, unsweetened
  • cup granola, such as our seeduction granola or store-bought
  • ½ cup brown rice puffs, or other puffed cereal
  • ¾ cup flax meal, ground, or more as needed

Serving Size: 4 People



 

Preparation Instructions

Melt together the coconut oil, honey, mashed banana, and sunflower butter. Pour into a bowl of the granola, shredded coconut, and brown rice puffs. Stir altogether. Fold in the flax meal, add more until the mixture feels a bit less sticky.

Roll into balls about 1-2 tablespoons big. Store and place in the fridge until they harden slightly and are less likely to lose their shape when you touch them.

They can be brought out to room temperature for a couple hours before they become really soft and need to go back to chill out in the fridge again.
