Green beans are tossed in a skillet over high heat with a bit of water until they are steamy. Toss in the red chili paste and a couple extras for a fast Asian side dish.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 lb green beans, ends trimmed and strings pulled if needed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil , or other nut oil
  • 1 teaspoon red chili sauce, any asian chili pepper sauce/paste will do
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce, to taste

Serving Size: 2 People

Preparation Instructions

Place a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add in the water and bring up to a simmer. Toss in the green beans and saute lightly in the water.

Once the water has evaporated, add in the oil. Saute giving the green beans a bit of color.

Toss with the red chili paste and soy sauce. Serve immediately.
