Garlic Seared Polenta

Garlic scented olive oil sears day old polenta or simply use the convenient tubes of polenta.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 package polenta, tube
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese, optional

Serving Size: 2 People



 

Preparation Instructions

Place the olive oil and garlic in a skillet, set over very low heat.

Slice the polenta into 1/2 inch slices. Pat dry.

Bring the oil & garlic up to medium heat. As soon as it sizzles, add the polenta slices. Sear on each side for 3-5 minutes until slightly golden on the edges and heated through.

Sprinkle with sea salt and/or grated parmesan. Serve while hot.
