Smoky Roasted Garbanzos

from Brown Butter Fish with Smoky Garbanzos & Caesar Salad, the Week of January 10, 2016.
View the previous recipe for this meal.

Smoked paprika livens up garbanozos. Cook until crisp but the insides are still a bit soft.

Ingredients

  • cup garbanzo beans, rinsed, about 1 can
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, more if the beans were unsalted

Serving Size: 4 People

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400.

Drain the garbanzos and rinse a couple of times. Roll around in a dish towel to dry.

Discard any of the little skins that fly off.

Place on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil, smoked paprika and salt.

Roast for 40 minutes, more or less, as soon as they are crispy. Stir and toss every 10-15 minutes as needed.
