Forgive me. This is more of a fake aioli, but with the yogurt it gets a boost of good probiotics so who’s complaining? And there are also no raw eggs. Cajun or even blackening spices work well to spice up this dip. Use Vegenaise for a vegan/dairy-free option.

Bacon Shrimp

As simple and delightful as it sounds. The smoky fat of the bacon is used with the succulent sweetness of shrimp. Seek out wild-caught shrimp from North America for the least polluted & sustainable options. Farm fresh bacon, or at least without nitrates is often your best choice. Add salt with discretion after you have tasted a shrimp.

Bitter greens, sweet roasted garlic & jewels of golden raisins balance each other in this simple toss. Roasting the garlic in advance will make this dish a lot easier.
